The Honda 1989 model is a pleasant enough bike to ride both on and off road. The rear suspension may be a bit soft or there again it may just be tired as it is still the original. This may also be the reason for shallower ground clearance than expected. The power and torque is just what you might expect from a 650 single. The fuel consumption seems to hover around the 50 mpg or slightly under making it both an economical comuter and tourer with a comfortable seating position for both rider and pillion especially with a flip screen. As for spares this is where the off road comes in as at present it has taken almost 2 months wait for parts. Parts ordered were: Camchain, guides, gasket set and gear selector shaft. Fingers crossed they may turn up soon. May Honda read and learn.
