What is meant by "reduced effect" ?? Sounds to me like some sort of pollution control like california would mandate and might impact fuel efficiency as well. Perhaps it´s detuned slightly for higher fuel efficiency. By the way does anyone know what the fuel economy is for this bike. I´m considering buying one (I´ve only ridden an 89 at this point). For that matter does any authority, magazine, etc. ever do a simple seat of the pants MPG (miles per gallon) test for motorcycles in general. It would be so simple.
Also, would anyone know of an "extension kit" for the front of the fairing that would act as a windshield. I suppose one could slap on a piece of plexiglass with some screws.
Any other general comments/complaints about this bike. It seems like a sporty, off-roadable "leg-over" scooter to me, but I still like it. Just wish they would have made a 350-400cc.
Thanks for any input!
