Dear Pat Just like a lot of other owners, I ´m looking for some information on the ´86 model. What I am mainly interested in is finding out how many were produced in ´86. And, if there is a way of finding out what factory they were built in ...and finally if you have any idea on todays value´s. As a side note, I have 2. I bought the first one new, and also have a good running spare bike . My good bike was built in 8/85, serial #JH2 NC1900 GM000001. This one is a little unusual in that it has the 01 engine, and some pearl in the paint. I figure the paint lines weren´t completely cleaned out when it was painted. This one also seems to have a stronger engine and pulls quite a bit harder than the other one that I have inspite of the fact that I tuned the 103 at time of the rebuild , mostly just freshened it up . I´ve been thinking of selling out, and would be interested in finding some kind of value for these bikes. #1 is completely stock, very clean, with 6000km. 103 is in pretty good condition with 14,000km. If you have any ideas or can point me in the right direction , I´d sure appreciate that Thanks Rob Perry |
