So I have a 81 cb900c. Well 9 times out of 10 when I go to start it gears grind. So I pulled the cover off and my starter and started clutch are fine. There´s 2 gears that sit between the starter and clutch. Well they some how slid outwards and grind. As soon as it happened I pulled it apart so the teeth them selves are still ok. I´m stuck I see the case holds the pipe that the gears sit on into place so I don´t know how they are sliding out. Any help is much appreciated!!!
