Gas Can???

I have a 2005 Metro and i know this might sound dumb, but i fill it up with a gas can because thats the only way i can figure how to. I´m not sure if there is another way because the owners manual says nothing about a gas can.. and it seems kinda rediculous..... I LOVE MY METRo regardless. Its my little baby. please tell me if there is another way
