I own a 2007 Metropolitan CHF50/S. We live in the rust belt. Before storing the scooter over the winter, I would like to burn the gas out of the carburetor. On my snow blower, I can turn off the gas flow and the engine runs until the gas in the line/carburetor is gone. Is the only way to do that with the Metro by draining as much gas out of the tank as possible and then running the motor until it stops running? Is there another way?
