Why so many 2007´s for sale???

I´ve been looking at trading in my 2007 R6 on an Interceptor. I see TONS of left over 2007´s for sale all over the place and can´t help but wonder why. Is there some issue with that year that makes them undesirable or did Honda just make too many???? Thanks!
