| A friend has brought me an ‘87 Helix that runs well and good, but recently it has developed a slow cranking issue. The starter engages every time the start button is pressed, but it cranks slowly, and every now and again, it’ll crank perfectly fine. I’ve jumped across the solenoid terminals and get the same results…I’m thinking there may be a starter motor problem manifesting. Anyone else experience this in the past? |
