I have a 2005 Gold Wind and my transmissions is starting to act up locks between second and third gear. I took it to a Honda shop and they told me that I put Valvoline SAE 10 W 40 in it and that might be the problem, so I changed the oil to what the Honda shop sold me and it shifted right for a while and it seems like when it gets hot it don´t change wright. I have bleed the clutch fluid and that don´t help. Can you give me a hint what to do?
As I live in Michigan and all the Honda shops has over a two months waiting period to get a bike in the shop.
I have 47,950 miles on it and most of the time I pull a trailer.
Was going to Columbia SC to see my boy but looks like the trip will be postponed until I get this fixed.
