Hi folks, I´m a complete newbie to Honda motorcycles and I am considering buying one. I have a couple of questions that probably seem pretty lame but I have to start some place.

I am 51 and my wife is the same age and we are wanting to start touring across the USA and my first choice for a bike is a Honda Gold Wing. The main question I have is a power concern. I weigh 350 and am 6´5" and my wife weighs (and it´s hard to get an honest answer LOL) 165 to 180 and I´m wondering if one of the models of touring Gold Wings would pull us up up and down the road thru mountains and possibly even a little trailor.

I know that is a lot to ask of a motorcycle but I´m sure you folks can give me an honest answer. I know the newer engines are very powerful and I´m just wondering if they are that powerful.

Thanks for any info and I look forward to getting some good info about motoring around the country via Honda motorcycles......
