Is the GW seat higher enough?

Last year I rented a BMW K 1600 GTL, and I toured California with this nice and big bike. I´m long legged and after riding long distances with the GTL my knees got a lot of pain. I´m now planning a similar trip, and someone is offering the Honda GoldWing as an alternative to the GTL... but reading the specs I found the GTL seat is 29,52 high and the GW seat 29,10. So I think I would have the same problem with the GoldWing. Can anyone help me with this issue? Thank you in advance!
