On my 1983 GL 650i...Trying to get the tach out and send it off for...what ever it needs to stop wining at me and jumping all over the scale. Looking at the disconnect of the gauge, the 4 gang wire harness joins another larger harness and likely goes into the junction box between the fork tubes. Hard to see in there with the faring on and donĀ“t want to remove the faring for this simple task. So disconnecting just the wires to pull the tach is the question???
