HELP! water in oil and HIGH pressure in crank case

I just bought a 82 Silverwing with 17K miles on it for $600. The guy said he just had a head gasket put in it (didnt say which side) by a shop, but it had a misfiring cylinder.
I started it and the Right side pipe was pretty cold compared to the other side so I pulled the head (bought 2 off ebay) cleaned her perfect and put on the one I just bought with new gaskets. I changed the oil and popped it off. With the oil stick out, it has a LARGE air pulse like a piston with a hole or something. The longer it ran, it turned to steam. I checked the compression and they were both 110 psi. I just pulled the other head off and am going to replace it. It looks normal as did the other one. Average carbon, the gaskets looked ok.. What the hell? Do these things have a weak spot in the block or something? I had 1 years ago and I loved it! Ran like a top! Help!!
