IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT BUYING A USA SPEC/IMPORT, I BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE NOT AS RESISTANT TO UK ROAD DIRT AS THOSE MADE FOR THE UK MARKET.

MY OWN BIKE THAT WAS PURCHASED ORIGINALY IN THE USA BEARS THIS OUT AS IT LOOKS GOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE BUT REMOVE THE REAR WHEEL AND SEE THE AMOUNT OF RUST, IT IS SCARY, MY BIKE WAS NOT WASHED OFF TO REMOVE TRACES OF SALT OF THE ROADS IN WINTER PLUS YOU WOULD HAVE TO DISMANTLE THE BIKE TO GIVE IT A PROPER CLEAN, WHEELS ARE BARE ALOY AND NOT PROTECTED FROM CORROSIVE ACTION, SO BUY A UK IMPORT OR TAKE A GOOD LOOK AROUN THE BIKE, BETTER STILL GET AN EXPERT TO GIVE IT THE ONCE OVER
