I am new to this forum. Have a 1983 GL1100 and wont part with it. Last fall I got a 1989 GL1500/6. Fabulous bike. Wineberry Red. It had some issues I wasnt aware of and wasnt told about. (private buy) Hesitation, new trigger wheel, new bank angle sensor, tires, complete tune up. The power blew my mind. I love it. I took a 877 mile journey last month. I normally run 70 mph. My average MPG was 42.3....I was satisfied with that. Look forward to reading this web site for information and probably some questions as I know very little about 1500´s .
