I know this answer is almost 6 years late, but in case you are still working on this and have not yet figured it out, you open the saddle bags by pulling the drawbars underneath the rear area of the trunk. For any subsequent support you may need, please post your quesitons 6 years ahead of time. that way, any answers we provide will be right on time since it takes 6 years to get answers here.
