| I´ve got an 87 Interstate with 65000 miles. Had it since 1993 with little or no trouble but now getting suspicious of the fuel pump. Bike still running good but the pump seems to be getting noisier. Could be my new hearing aid. Anyway, I´ve been looking for a new pump, just in case, but find none available. I have found one for an 84 Interstate. Basically, I believe both engines are the same or very similar. Is there any reason the 84 pump wouldn´t work on my 87? I´d appreciate any and all opinions and experiences or info on where to locate a 87 pump. Thanks, Joe |
