Hi, I´m George. I´ll admit I bot it nearly sight unseen. Actually, she is good looking. And it did drive home 5200 miles. But...i have some concerns. One is, when stopped on a hill, the motor shudders as the gas comes on. I´ve learned to step on my foot brake so I can give feather the throttle and clutch to get going.
The mechanic said it needs lots of work, carbs, timing belts, valves, steering ... and more. Funny, it feels rough up to 2500 in 1,2,and 3rd gear but after 2500, she goes pretty good. I did drive 5200 miles after buying it..but it isn´t the smooth powerful
´83 Aspencade i also owned from ´83 to ´´87.. Should I put $ into it, deal with discontinued parts issue..how to decide..your opinions
are appreciated. Thanks KC
