I have an 82 GL1100, have had oil seepage at times thru the same seep hole, suddenly got much worse, my shop says there are sets of seals that go out and cause this leakage, he said there´s also a water pump seal in the same area. Not expensive parts, but some shop time, and probably have the radiator flushed at the same time.
