Have a 77gl1000. I am using the manual recommended spark plugs. It is running rough and the plugs are dark with soot and it doesn´t have the throttle power it has had in the past. Not oily. My understanding is that a hotter burning plug would make it run smoother and provide better throttle power. I run it in town with stop and go traffic and there is a bit of idling. What kind of plug would you recommend? Thanks. Wingman |
