Yes, your oil if it slightly overfilled will heat it up more. Also, use Mobil 1 synthetic oil. My engine fan is not needed unless I stay in town riding where I might have to idle at a stop light for over A maximum time or when a light is stuck. Otherwise when the temperature is outside at 65 degrees the engine fan is not needed on the highway or when cruizing. I use to have over heating problems. I lowered my level in the middle of the window and use synthetic oil to correct the problem. Also I have my manual switch to turn on the engine fan when needed. Also, make sure you have new valve stems to keep your air pressure up. |
