Loss of top speed-noisier exhaust

Loss of top speed-noisier exhaust

Was at top speed (about 50 mph) & crossed some rr trax. Scooter immediately got louder. Thought exhaust manifold had broken? Exhaust looks fine, but top end has lost about 4mph and acceleration seems slower.
