I bought an 02 NT650 about 4 months ago to commute on - it had the bigger screen and had dreadful problems in high cross winds. It also had some sort of problem in selecting 2nd and the mirrors were, er, crap. Having said that I loved it to bits .. THEN one day I went out to buy a new pair of gloves and went home with the NT700, without a test drive, purely on the looks of the thing !!
It has better fuel economy, the mirrors are superb (they stick out a bit further), the dash is wonderful (even has a fuel gauge), MUCH less cross wind problems, better riding position, smoother, more powerful - a delight to ride - it still has problems with 2nd tho´.
