I am riding a DV year 2001. I was riding on a country road in Malaysia and my DV just suddenly could not accelerate. It seem like no fuel supply I turn to reserve n still the same. I discovered the the fuel pump was not working. I try by-passing the fuel pump n it work. I rode back to Singapore without a problem. So, now the question is, what is fuel pump for if we can connect it directly to the cabureter. Please help - Thanks
