I just bought an 83 cx 650e from a buddy of mine and i have a few issues with the bike and i am looking for a little advice. when the bike is cold you can start it up and proceed as normal, but when it heats up, you can´t change from first gear for some reason- I was told that because the bike is shaft drive that this is happing because the shaft seal is gone and needs to be replaced, and i was told that a ticking in the engine was a side effect of the same problem is this true? also, there is gas leaking from the bottom of the carb, looks like a little drain tube or something just below a brass screw, how do i fix this- help appreciated!
