i have a 1979 CX 500 I´m about to part out. Its only got 22,197 miles on it. I´m 51 years old and bought it last year for my first bike ever.... It´s been nothing but problems. The valves were out of whack! Now the carb float is locking up & spewing gas all over teh garage floor, so back to the shop. If anyone is looking for a bike that has good leather, tires & believe it or not a good engine, let me know. I´m in NOrthern Michigan. I can send you pics. It does have a dent in the gas tank. Cosmetic only
