| Popping on decel usually means you are running lean. Quick fix may be to turn your idle mix screws (located on bottom of carb, one near each bowl) OUT 1/2 turn and try again. If that doesn´t work, a deep carb clean may be in order. Carbs that look clean may yet have dirty jets and passages. choppercharles.com/cs has excellent instructions on the process |
