these cx hondas are unreal motorcycles.But to do most big jobs yes you have to take out motor.This is really easy just get a mate to help and a six pack, it will be on the floor with a can left.They are easy to work on the biggest problem is the cam chain and stator also you need a threded puller to remove alt rotor the fan can be removed with the front axel
