How to exchange the cable for speed of rotation.

I have just bought and imported from Germany a CX 500E, Year 1985, 50 PS, I myself is born in 1941, and the Honda CX 500E is my first motorcycle, so I need help, because I do not know anything about this model.

If possible mail me, your prof. answer.
