No fifth gear?

No fifth gear?

So I bought this bike (Honda 500 r) and once I finally found the open space to get to 5th gear it wasn´t there. There is a spot for it I go from fourth gear up and if feels like neutral. Clearly this is a problem cause I can´t go fast enough but more importantly what steps does one take to fix this issue?
