Hi,I,m looking to buy a 1980 cx500 custom with 27,000 clocked up.Sat in a shed for 12 years, a bike shop mechanic has had it quietly for sale for over a year for $3000.said he replaced stator and cam chain.can you tell me if the 1980 model had the same fault with the cam chain tension bolt as the earlier. Did Honda have it sorted
Also, any thing in particular to look for. regards.
