So I have a 2004 Vulcan 800 classic and I have it all made up as a bobber and I´ll let you know that is super tight under the seat. Esp with the 3 to 4 feet extra of unnecessary wire harness. I cut half the battery box right out then lost the air box chamber under the tank gave me extra room. Cut much of the extra wire right out and relocated everything under the solo seat pan that came fit for the vn800.i painted it and some other stuff and I get more compliments on this bike than most of my buddies I ride with and they all got these big shot Harleys and tons of gadgets and money. I got mine for 1300 bucks and been a blessing. I have pics if you want to check them out email me at esteyk1982@gmail.com. just use the title Vulcan bobber on the heading so I can catch it.
