I´m about to purchase an almost new ´05 CRF450X and have read mainly positive stuff. I was actually very close to buying an ´05 or ´06 WR450 Yam. but they were all located further away than was realistic. I´d like to know if anyone has the definitive list (or close to it) of changes made for each year from the original ´05 CRF450X all the way to the lastest ´08 model? For example I saw on a ´05/´06 comparason chart that the only real change was a 5LB increase but it didn´t say why. I believe there is probably only two generations (´05/´06 and ´07/´08) of the bike based on the usual two year update cycle so while I´m curious about the cause of the ´06s extra 5LBs I´m more interested in any big (I´d assume ´07) changes that reflect purging bugs and areas of complaint for ´05/´06 owners and if there´s a way to retro remedy them on an ´05 bike?
