The shims are of a hard materials- tempered STEEL , they are also rarely damaged unless run DRY, when a job is done by a qulaified Honda service dept ( hum, an oxy moron) they subsitutite your shims for others that will allow proper clearances. remember its the valves and head that wear and rockers. |
