| Hello, this is my first experience in a dicussion group and I appreciate any help. I have a 2009 CRF450R that I purchased middle 2012.Bike has Hot Cams stage 2 cam, Yoshimura full exhaust, and Tokyo mods ignition mod. I rode the bike 6 or 7 times before problem started. It feels as if it is already into the rev limiter at 1/4 throttle. I replaced fuel filter and drained and cleaned tank, same thing! I replaced tank with my friends 2011 tank and updated pump, Same thing! Air filter is ALWAYS cleaned and is clean now, new spark plug and is getting good spark, per inline spark tester. Bike always starts and idles fine. Goes through initial start up electrical ck and light on kill switch goes out, never comes back on and never flashes any codes!You can ride bike as long as you want to but you have to short shift it to keep the revs down. Help please!!! |
