My son moved up from a 70 to a 2006 crf80. We find it very hard to start from day one. If you try to start it cold and it fires up and then dies, it is hard as heck to get it started again. I read other forums and sounds like other people have this same problem with the crf80. One article i read, the guy changed to a adjustable needle #16012-gn1-a41 and the main jet 99101-116-1000 everything else stayed the same. Also he is running his spark plug gap at around 28-30. Can anyone give me some help on this. My 50 and 70 were very easy to start. Thanks Ken |
