| I have inherited a CRM 250 complete with burnt CDI. It seems the previous owner had swopped some wires around to see what would happen, and discovered that it smoked. Have finally got replacement, the only wiring diagram that I have a)is in Chinese; and b) (having finally had the colours translated for me by some Chinese friends) doesn´t seem in any way related to the wires on my bike or the sockets on the CDI. I don´t want to just plug the new CDI in, because logically it would just go up in smoke too... There are two plugs going into the CDI, each with twelve coloured wires going into the CDI in two paralel rows. Reading from alternate rows on one of the plugs (the white one) the colours are: green/white, green/ black, white/green, red , white/black, black/green, pink/black, pink/white, black/yellow, black/white, green/blue, green. If anybody out there can confirm that these are correct (or say what they should be), and say what they should be on the black plug, a million million thanks. |
