My Honda CM-400 1984 is dead. How do I check if my alternator is working. There is lot of dirt and gunk inside the alternator. I tried to take the alt. out with a large bolt with no luck. Should I use impact gun? because when I use a breaker bar I am afraid I will ruin the transmission. Please help.
