Are you wanting to keep the stock look? Mine has the same issue and I decided to get a different tank altogether. The older Harley tear-drop tank look decent on this bike the only issue that you run into are that you might have to make a different bracket so it fits correctly.Make sure to get a tank with similar dimensions as the old one. A Honda CB tank might just be what you are looking for.
