Sticky carbs - Fuel treatment? |

So, while I´m out riding today, I come to a stop sign, and even though I´m stopped with the clutch in, the rpms stay up... I ride another 10 minutes, cut the engine and the bike gives a fart (seriously!) ... 30 minutes later I start it up again, ride it home with no problem. A friend suggested the carbs are just mucked up, and that if dump some fuel treatment into the tank (the kind with jet fuel) it should help. I´m planning on getting the carbs cleaned soon anyway, but in the meantime, is it okay to use fuel treatment in my bike? THANKS FOR THE HELP! |
