$750 could be fair depending on the condition of the bike. I bought mine 8 years ago for $650 (5500mi) and put $300+ in it for tires and misc. This year I put another $500 to clean the carb, replace steering bearings, and misc. My mechanic said the bike is now probably worth $1100. It´s not mint condition, but runs really good now. It is a great first bike.
