Lifting Seat??

Hey, I´ve read in the CM250T (Custom) manual that the seat can be lifted, showing a compartment, however after following instructions I cannot find the levers, can anyone confirm this? And how do I know that my bike is a Cm250T and not a Cm250C? what is the difference?
