I have owned my 06 Scarabeo 500 Touring, since 07. I ride it more each year, especially w gas prices high. I now am approaching 12k miles and am considering taking it on a 3000 mile round trip to Florida & back, instead of my Harley which gives off too much heat. Is there anything that you would do before the trip, besides check tire pressure & condition, oil, & basic stuff. I have the original drive belt which shows no signs of slippage but it is recommended to replace a 6-9000 miles. What do you think?
