| Just found this website and thought I would post my thoughts of my new bike. I picked up my new CBR954RR 2 weeks ago in the silver and black colour. I traded in a 2002 V-Max I had purchased last summer. I am amazed by the power that this bike has!! I bought it because my V-Max was leaving me a bit wanting in the power category and more so in handling. I have not had a really good chance to let my new 954 go yet as it has less than 500kms on it still, but I must say that my first ride on it was a bit of an eye opener!! I have been riding bikes for about 16 years now and this is my 8th bike to own, but it is my very first "crotch rocket". I have been trying to stay away from this style of bike as I didn´t really think I would enjoy riding them (uncomfortable, or so I thought) but my eyes have sure been opened! This bike has an incredible amount of power (and I have only had it up to 7000 rpm as per break in spec.) and it handles like a dream!! I would advise anyone looking at it to take a closer look and see what you would be missing if you decided not to purchase. It is truely an incredible ride!!! G Kelly Cambridge, Ontario Canada |
