I highly doubt you have seen much less ridden the blade, because even the most exposed riders, and biggest critics have to swallow thier bias on other bikes and given this bike the respect it deserves. Few bikes will much the perfomance on this bike and has left a legacy other manufucturers have had to battle just to come close. I previously had a 1992 CBR 600F which I sold and got a 1998 Fireblade two months ago. This bike is just a monster. Well the posture was killing me at first (the 600F was more a tourer)but I have gotten used to it. It is accomodating....kinda makes you feel it forgives every small mistake you make and makes you feel guilty each time you repeat them. The bike is confident at low and high speeds. Only that when twist you the throttle you feel like she wants to turn around and bite you. The power delivery is smooth, with no variation in power bands as you approach the reds. This is one hell of a beauty. It kills me to hear that someone hates this bike. |
