Two weeks ago My cbr900rr 1999 broke down on the motorway, it was raining quite hard and after riding for about 1hr it began to lose power quickly which left me stranded, my bike was working great up until then, it seemed that it had some fuel starvation but the tank was three quarters full. I tried to start the bike but it was spluttering and phased out again. After 10 mins it started and got me to the servicies. I returned back home and the weather cleared up on the way, there were no issues at all, I used it on Sunday for an hour no problems. It´s happened twice now. I do store the bike outside with two covers on so it keeps dry. Does anyone know what could be the issue? The bike ticks over without any issues also.
