The top speed is 162 mph (radared), even though the speedometer shows 173. It´s got 2-3 mph on any other 600cc bike. It´s power band is extremely smooth (no dips throughout the rpm range) all the way to 15,000 rpms. It´s also very stable at high speeds and especially corners - which is the most important thing.
