The F4i when modded can get up to 270km/hr on a flat straight away but takes a long stretch of road to maintain adequate speed to reach this, the fastest I´ve had mine up to is 240km/hr and that was on two large straights joined with a long progressive corner that required me to go on wrong side of road to maintain bike without getting speed wobbles, I think that the RR is a great bike mainly cause I own both the F4i 04 model and the latest RR 09´ bikes and know what the difference in power to comfort would be. Your mates with the RR´s will definately have you on speed and pick up if they know how to quick shift properly but you will have comfort on the longer trips with the extended seat and the same sized engine.
