I found out why my bike was backfiring during the dyno...my mech said that he was hitting the rev limiter...i didnt know this bike had one..i had a honda interceptor 500 which i red lined all day long in the desert twelve years ago...got it up to 135mph with a (good) tail wind...until it seized up on me at 60 mph..!!! scary! i think its a riders choice if he wants to excede the red line..he knows you should only bury it for a second or two...but i tell you from experience you can get away with this for a month or two but it\
