I´ve had a leak before. I simply cleaned it with a thin piece of plastic, here´s how. - Pull up the plastic mudguard around the fork. - Use a flathead screwdriver to pry up the top black seal on the fork (I don´t remember the name). - Use a thin piece of plastic to pull out any dirt. Use a swiping motion coming up. The plastic needs to be thin, think laminated paper. - Put the fork seal back on, it´ll click back in with some pressure. That´s it, worked for me. A mechanic said the seal would need replacing, but he was wrong. Apparently this easy fix will often save you having to replace a seal, good luck. |
